Appointment underscores Brass’ valuable role in building strategic corporate initiatives to support growth, client satisfaction, and innovation
Brookfield, WI (May 19, 2021) – Cilio Technologies, LLC, a leading developer of order management, field service, and mobile workforce management software for home improvement manufacturers, retailers, and installers, today announced that David Brass, VP of Sales and Marketing, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations.
In his new role, Brass will take on additional strategic responsibilities, most notably focused in three key areas:
Product Management and Innovation: Brass is leading efforts to enhance Cilio’s CiO and Partners Portal software to help home improvement installers and manufacturers meet the changing demands of the $500 billion home improvement market. For example, new enhancements to the CiO software are focused on integrating with more sales channels, such as online aggregators, and helping installers navigate the trend for home improvement retailers to consolidate contractor networks.
Client satisfaction: Existing clients account for more than half of Cilio’s growth, while 40% of new clients come from referrals – much of which can be attributed to Cilio’s focus on customer support and satisfaction. A top priority for Brass is to further strengthen Cilio’s client relationships, particularly as the demand for home improvement services continues to grow. Client order volumes in the CiO system have increased 91% over the past 12 months. More than ever, installers need responsive service and tools to automate their businesses and reduce time spent on back-office tasks.
Revenue Growth: Brass will lead Cilio’s sales, marketing, and development teams in pursuing growth in the installer and manufacturing markets. This includes opportunities to combine the power of Cilio’s two cornerstone products, Partners Portal and CiO, to help manufacturers and their installer networks manage sales channels and improve communication and transparency. Cilio recently announced such a deal with Pella Corporation and hopes to bring in more like it.
“David was an early member of the leadership team and has been a dedicated and tireless force at Cilio as we’ve evolved from startup to a fast growing leader in the installed sales and field service SaaS space,” said Randy Olejnik, President of Cilio Technologies. “It is very clear that David’s role at the company is invaluable and his increased responsibilities at Cilio will be incredibly important to achieving our business goals and supporting the needs of our customers.”
“The last 6 years at Cilio have been some of the most exciting of my career and it has been a pleasure to be a part of helping this amazing company grow and innovate for our customers,” stated Brass. “I am particularly passionate about making sure that as our technologies evolve and our team grows, we never lose sight of customer delivery and the central role it plays for Cilio’s success.”
Prior to joining Cilio in 2015, Brass worked for Lowe’s home improvement stores for 13 years in various roles, including field service manager, project manager, and field project specialist. His promotion comes with increased equity investment in Cilio.
In recent months, Cilio has hired several new employees in sales, development, and support roles: Kurt Wojciechowski joined as sales specialist, West Gonzales joined as a technology specialist, and Mike Henze, serves as a support lead. The Cilio team will celebrate Brass’ promotion, new hires, and company milestones at the “Cilio Summit” annual company meeting later in May.
